Portrait session are delivered within two weeks and Wedding Galleries are over within 8-10.
For weddings and time-sensitive events, we’ll adjust the plan and make the most of the conditions we’re given.
For outdoor sessions with more flexibility, I’ll make the final call based on the weather that day. If conditions aren’t safe or could put equipment at risk, we’ll reschedule for a mutually available date within the following two weeks.
This is one of the biggest questions I get, so I made an entire guide for it. It covers color palettes, coordinating without matching, textures, patterns, what photographs well and what I’d skip. And if you’re still debating between outfits, send them my way. I’m happy to weigh in.
You don’t have to. I’ve put together a location guide with my favorite fields, studios, neighborhoods and less-obvious spots around Charlotte, along with what each location looks like, when it photographs best and what to know before choosing it.
Every photography package includes a minimum number of professionally edited images, which varies by session type. I don’t hold back photographs I love just to meet a number, so galleries often include more than the minimum listed.
Absolutely. Dogs are welcome at sessions as long as the location allows them. Bring a leash and a few treats, and if possible, an extra person who can help when we want photographs without your dog.
Yes. I photograph sessions throughout Charlotte and the surrounding areas and am available for travel beyond the Charlotte area as well. Depending on the location, an additional travel fee may apply.
Your session is officially booked once your agreement is signed and your retainer is paid. Dates remain available to other clients until both are complete.
Yes. I’ll give you plenty of direction so you never have to wonder what to do, but I won’t pose every photograph within an inch of its life. The goal is a mix of intentional portraits and natural interaction that still feels like you.
They don’t need to. I don’t expect kids to sit still and smile at the camera for an entire session. We’ll move, play, take breaks when needed and work with their personalities rather than against them.
